Book Reviews

Every Last Word by Tamara Ireland Stone
This was a gut wrenching novel, in a good way. I read this way too fast though, I wish I had spent more time contemplating and reflecting on each chapter because it just gives it more meaning. This is amazingly well detailed and the story, while sad, made me so happy to read. The main character is living with OCD and anxiety and if you thought high school was hard, this books takes the stress of school to a whole new level.

The Invisible Man by H.G. Wells
This was a very interesting book. The story is very intriguing and well written. Even though
the idea of an invisible man sounds simple enough to understand, it goes deeper
into what it would really mean to be invisible. Does it really count as living
if no one knows you’re there?

The Secret Life of Bees by Sue Monk Kidd
Even though The Secret Life of Bees by Sue Monk Kidd was a required summer reading book, the depth of the characters makes you want to read on and learn more about the characters. (Insert more book review stuff here.) Overall, this was an interesting book.
